Elmer helps people encounter Jesus and equips leaders to steward their gifts well, drawing on years in worship ministry, organizational leadership, and team development. He spent 4 years as a staff pastor in Sydney, Australia, and has served on staff at leading churches across the United States, experiences that shaped his global perspective and his commitment to building healthy leaders and teams.
At LifePoint Church, he oversees campus pastors, ministries, worship, and creative teams across a growing multi-campus church. He also preaches, trains leaders, develops worship culture, writes and produces music, and consults with ministries.
His messages are practical, grounded in Scripture, and focused on legacy, spiritual formation, and building the local church.
Elmer and his wife Laurie have been married for over 19 years and are raising 3 children.
